Shipping from Korea

Check your item before you buy.

First, confirm that your item can travel by EMS. Then check the estimated postage and your destination’s rules.

What is EMS?

EMS (Express Mail Service) is an international express postal service. Korea Post sends your parcel from Korea, and the destination’s postal operator handles local delivery.

You can follow its progress with an EMS tracking number.

Delivery time varies by destination, flights and customs clearance.

Air-mail restrictions: check these first

These are common examples, not a complete list. Air-mail restrictions and destination import rules both apply. Other liquids, cosmetics and battery types need an item-specific check.

Also check the country-specific notices below before buying or sending. What can go to your destination?

Batteries & electronics

Power banks, lithium batteries and devices containing them are prohibited. Some installed button cells and nickel batteries have specific exceptions. Check any battery-powered item with us first.

Perfume & metal aerosol cans

Perfume, flammable liquids and pressurized metal containers cannot travel by EMS. Other cosmetics need a contents and packaging check.

Prohibited goods & valuables

Narcotics, explosives, counterfeit goods, cash and certain valuables cannot be sent by international post.

Food, medicine & plants

Acceptance depends on the destination, ingredients and required documents. Check the exact item before purchasing.

How much is EMS shipping?

Estimate one parcel of goods from Korea by standard EMS. This calculator does not cover documents or EMS Premium.

Enter kilograms, including the box and packing materials.

Measure all three outside dimensions of the finished box in centimetres.

Your EMS estimate

Choose a destination and enter the packed weight and box measurements.

Volumetric weight = length × width × height ÷ 6,000 (cm → kg). The higher of actual and volumetric weight sets the chargeable weight.

Volumetric weight is rounded up under Korea Post's rules, then the applicable postage weight band is used.

This is an estimate, not a fixed quote. Final postage depends on Korea Post's measurements, rates and acceptance at dispatch.

What can go to your destination?

Read Korea Post’s destination guidance here: acceptance, prohibited and restricted items, delivery, and customs.

Choose a destination above to see its rules.

A destination being absent from the suspension list does not guarantee acceptance. Routes, local restrictions and item rules can change; confirm before purchase and dispatch.

Estimate import duties & taxes

Plan for import duties and VAT/GST before buying. Enter the item value and international postage for an approximate budget.

Check where the item was made. Buying or shipping it from Korea does not make it Korean-origin.

Enter postage in the same currency as the item value. Include insurance, if any.

Calculate a valid EMS postage estimate above first.

Adjust rates or record taxes already paid

Enter both rates, including 0 if applicable, to calculate your own scenario without exemptions or tax-free thresholds. Otherwise, verified presets are used where available.

Enter only import duties or VAT/GST already paid. If included in the item price, remove that tax from the item value above first. Do not enter the item price or postage here.

Your import-cost budget

Choose a destination and enter the item value and postage to see an estimate.

Budget estimate only; customs determines the final charges. This assumes purchases, not gifts, and does not assume trade-agreement relief.

Excise goods, food, medicines and precious goods are outside this calculator. Carrier clearance and handling fees may be extra.

Reference exchange rate · . Currency conversion is approximate. Customs may use a different exchange rate.

Pay the actual shipping cost

Receipt provided

We provide the actual postage receipt so you can see what Korea Post charged.

If it costs more

We explain any additional amount and arrange the extra payment with you before proceeding.

If it costs less

If the actual postage is lower than the amount you paid for postage, we refund the difference.

This estimate covers postage for one EMS parcel. Item prices, Toyoni service fees, seller-to-Toyoni delivery, storage, packing, insurance and destination duties or taxes are excluded and quoted or charged separately.
